Strategic Study of CAE 2012, Volume 14, Issue 8,   Pages 85-90

Abstract:

Objective: to evaluate the incorporation of BPA by glioma cell lines, and to observe its relationship with the temperature and the concentration of BPA.Results: The content of the 10B in cells was increasing with the increasing concentration of BPAThe BPA efflux is slower at the lower temperature.dependence of the BPA transport out of the cells.

Degradation of endocrine disruptor bisphenol A in drinking water by ozone oxidation

XU Bin, GAO Naiyun, RUI Min, WANG Hong, WU Haihui

Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering 2007, Volume 1, Issue 3,   Pages 350-356 doi: 10.1007/s11783-007-0060-y

Abstract: With an initial concentration of 11.0 mg/L, the removal efficiencies of BPA (bisphenol A) could be measuredThe impacts on BPA degradation under the conditions of different ozone dosages, water background values, BPA initial concentrations, and ozone adding time were analyzed. The effects of applied HO dose in ozone oxidation of BPA were also examined in this study. The O-HO processes proved to have similar effects on the degradation of BPA by ozone oxidation.

Yong YU,Laosheng WU

Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering 2015, Volume 9, Issue 3,   Pages 475-481 doi: 10.1007/s11783-014-0640-6

Abstract: Target compounds were relatively low in bile, and only bisphenol A (BPA) and diclofenac were measurableOnly BPA was frequently found in muscle, with mean concentration of 7.26 ng·g dw.The estimated daily intake of BPA through fish consumption for U.S. resident was significantly lower

Liping LIANG,Jing ZHANG,Pian FENG,Cong LI,Yuying HUANG,Bingzhi DONG,Lina LI,Xiaohong GUAN

Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering 2015, Volume 9, Issue 1,   Pages 16-38 doi: 10.1007/s11783-014-0697-2

Abstract: Bisphenol A (BPA), an endocrine disrupting compound, has caused wide public concerns due to its wideBPA has been detected in many surface waters and drinking water with the maximum concentrations up toEach removal option has its own limitation and merits in removing BPA.Only few advanced oxidation methods have been reported to be able to mineralize BPA completely.in water effluents and thus have potential as BPA removal technologies.
